We were invited to the 2026 Google Cloud Global Expansion Summit: a shared journey around AI and Chinese companies going global
On June 25, 2026, String Global was invited by Google to attend the 2026 Google Cloud Global Expansion Summit in Shenzhen as a close partner of Google Ads. Our CEO Mengsk, project lead Jeric, and technical lead Felix attended the event, joining many companies from global expansion tracks including intelligent manufacturing, cross-border e-commerce, gaming, and startups to experience this industry summit themed “AI-powered, winning globally.”
A summit about “how AI drives global expansion”
This year’s summit focused on the deep integration of generative AI and globalization. Around core global expansion tracks such as retail, intelligent manufacturing, gaming, the broader internet sector, and startups, it showed how AI is becoming a growth engine for Chinese companies going global.
For String, which works on the front line of overseas marketing, this was both a learning opportunity and a confirmation: AI is reshaping every part of overseas marketing, from content production and market insight to precise reach and media buying optimization, while the boundaries of efficiency and creativity are being redefined. Especially in the track of “intelligent manufacturing going global,” we saw that more and more Chinese manufacturing companies are no longer satisfied with simply “selling products overseas.” Instead, they hope to use AI and digital marketing to truly build their own brands and channels overseas.
Behind the invitation is a deep journey with Google
This invitation came from the long-term deep cooperation established between String and Google Ads.
Relying on our deep understanding of the Google Ads media buying system and rich practical experience, we have provided more than 100 companies with one-stop overseas marketing services including overseas advertising, SEO/GEO optimization, and overseas social media operations, helping clients acquire customers efficiently and grow steadily in overseas markets. Google also expected us to communicate face to face with more companies that have global expansion needs on such an occasion, bringing mature marketing methodologies and AI capabilities to a broader group of Chinese companies going global.
For us, this was not just an opportunity to “be there,” but also an opportunity to stay in sync with the industry and with customer needs.
Beyond the summit, what we are thinking about
As an overseas marketing service provider, and also as a supplier of AI computing platforms and large model capabilities, String has always believed that the value of technology must ultimately land on the matter of “helping companies truly sell their goods to the world.”
The full-stack AI capabilities shown at the summit are exactly the direction we continue to cultivate: deeply integrating large model capabilities with real overseas marketing scenarios, helping manufacturing clients and clients across industries improve the full chain from content production and traffic acquisition to conversion growth with lower costs and higher efficiency. We do not chase concepts. Instead, we bring AI into every campaign, every piece of content, and every specific growth effort in overseas markets.
As our CEO Mengsk said after the event: Chinese companies going global are moving from “products going global” toward “brands going global” and “ecosystems going global.” The collaboration between marketing and technology has never been as important as it is today.
Heading overseas, we move forward with Google
In the future, String Global will continue to deepen cooperation with Google and other global ecosystem partners, constantly refining overseas marketing and AI technology capabilities to provide professional and reliable overseas expansion support for more Chinese companies with global ambitions.
This road is long, but worthwhile. We are willing to move overseas together with all Chinese companies that hold global ambitions.
